Maybe so. The actor showed off a new bob with bangs during an interview on January 17 amid rumors she and Ben Affleck have split.

Ana de Armas and Ben Affleck haven’t confirmed their breakup themselves, but People reported on it Monday, January 18. “Ben is no longer dating Ana,” a source told the outlet. “She broke it off. Their relationship was complicated. Ana doesn’t want to be Los Angeles based and Ben obviously has to since his kids live in Los Angeles.”

A second source said, “This is something that was mutual and something that is completely amicable. They are in different points in their lives; there is deep love and respect there. Ben continues to want to work on himself. He has three jobs lined up and he’s a solid father at home. They are both happy with where they are in their lives.”

The two were first linked together in March 2020 and have been paparazzi fodder ever since. Affleck recently opened up about the media attention his relationships receive, specifically his early-aughts one with Jennifer Lopez.

“You know, there’s always a story of the month, and me dating Jennifer Lopez happened to be that tabloid story at the time when that business grew exponentially,” Affleck said on The Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter podcast, per People. “Still, to this day, [some] will go, ‘I see you out there in the paparazzi and the pictures!’ It’s like, ‘Yes, I left my house and took out the trash. It’s not like I’m trying to—.’ And it’s still like, ‘You were taking a pap walk!’ As if, if you leave your house, you’re only doing so in the hope that you could be so lucky that you could end up as the sixth item in the Daily Mail. It’s absurd!”
