Amy Schumer has taken issue with Glamour's latest special edition magazine.

In a photo caption shared to Instagram, Schumer expressed her displeasure at seeing her name printed on the cover of Glamour's plus-size special issue magazine. The issue — titled "Chic at Every Size" — is part of a collaboration between the magazine and Lane Bryant, the women's clothing retailer.

The comedienne and movie star felt that it set wrong expectations on body standards for readers and would lead to those with her body type believing that they are plus-sized.

"I think there's nothing wrong with being plus size," she writes. "Beautiful healthy women. Plus size is considered size 16 in America. I go between a size 6 and an 8."

Schumer says the publication placed her name on the issue's cover without asking for her permission, or sharing its intent to do so.

"Young girls seeing my body type thinking that is plus size? What are your thoughts?" she asked followers. "Mine are not cool glamour not glamourous."

A statement given to Mashable from a Glamour spokesperson reads:

Glamour Editor-in-Chief Cindi Leive also addressed Schumer's concerns on Twitter:

The special issue in question hit newsstands on March 29, and retails for $12.99, WWD reports.
