Amy Schumer got a visit from a very special guest while filming her latest project this week.

On Thursday, the 39-year-old actress was shooting her new series, Life & Beth, in New York City. During one of her breaks, the Trainwreck star was spotted hanging out with her son, Gene David Fischer, in the park. Of course, the paparazzi were able to snap some photos of the moment, one of which was shared by Schumer on her personal Instagram account, here.

In the sweet snap, the comedian is sitting on a bench while a shirtless Gene looks cozy on her lap. She cleverly captioned the post, “best diet. have a kid use it to cover your belly.”

Like us, Schumer’s followers melted at the shot of the mother-son duo. Beauty guru, Georgia Louise, wrote, “He is a mini you—love you both,” while Heather Brooker added, “I am also on this diet.”

Gene, who Schumer shares with her husband Chris Fischer, will be celebrating his second birthday next month (we can’t believe it either). The couple welcomed their little boy back in May 2019 and announced the news via Instagram. Though Schumer's pic has since been deleted, the caption included a subtle nod to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, whose son, Archie, also happens to share the same birthday. She wrote, "10:55 pm last night. Our royal baby was born."

Since then, she has been giving fans small glimpses into her life as a mother on Instagram. And we can’t wait to see what she posts for his birthday.
