Amy Roloff’s Boyfriend Chris Marek Says He "Teased Her A Little Bit" Before Proposing

In an exclusive preview clip from the latest episode, Amy Roloff and Chris Marek talk about house hunting and potentially moving in together.
In September 2019, Chris proposed to Amy after three years of dating.
It seems like just yesterday that Little People Big World star Amy Roloff announced she was happily engaged to her boyfriend of three years, Chris Marek.
Now, the new season of the hit TLC show is giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at how the sweet proposal came to be. In the exclusive clip above, Chris encourages Amy to stay positive during her house-hunting process and also shares his thoughts as a realtor. But if worse comes to worst, the motorcycle enthusiast has a solution — moving in together.
“Knowing that you’re going to spend at least 10 years in the next house, it’s worth waiting for the right one,” he said. “You’re not going to be kicked out of here tomorrow, and if that should happen, then you can move in with me while we find, wait for the right house to pop up.”

“I don’t know. Is there a ring on it, Chris?" the mother of four quickly responded. "Is there a ring on it?”
Although he was amused by her question, Chris later revealed he was actually hinting about their future together.
“I’ve kind of enjoyed kind of teasing her a little bit and it’s all part of the big buildup,” he explained in his one-on-one interview. “Life may change after I pop the question. I’m thinking that this is going to be ‘we’ if she says yes and so it’s going to be, hopefully, a fun, new experience.”

As fans know, Chris proposed to Amy one day after her 55th birthday with a heart-shaped ring. In a recent Facebook Live, the bride-to-be shared that it truly caught her off guard.
“Oh my gosh, some of the things that I found out he did that was like ‘Are you kidding me?’” she said. “Oh my lord, it was so special, so exciting.”
We’ll just have to keep watching to see the heartwarming moment for ourselves!
