Amy Poehler reunited with the Parks and Rec ladies for Galentine's Day, and we're screaming "uteruses before duderuses"

What’s Galentine’s Day? Oh, it’s only the best day of the year. We’re forever grateful to our fearless leader Leslie Knope for inventing a day where we can all do the thing we love most: celebrate the women in our lives. We also love the women of Parks and Recreation for keeping the February 13th tradition alive. For multiple years in a row now, Aubrey Plaza has posted an iconic selfie with women from the show to celebrate this very important holiday.

Plaza plays April, who kind of hates most things, especially traditional romance and sentiment, so we love that she’s the cast member who gets all mushy on this day each year. On Thursday, she shared a selfie with Ann Perkins (Rashida Jones), Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler), and Jennifer Barkley (Kathryn Hahn).

Plaza kept the caption straightforward, simply writing, “🖤happy galentines day🖤.”

Scroll down for all of Plaza’s Galentine’s Day posts throughout the years. And if you really want to see the fourth wall break and confuse everything you know about the April and Ann dynamic, go check out Plaza’s appreciation post for Jones from January 2018.

This is also the exact same crew from Plaza’s first Galentine’s Day selfie in 2018. IRL April got uncharacteristically sentimental in this post writing, “these women keep me alive,” and it absolutely melted our hearts.

It looks like Hahn couldn’t make the Galentine’s Day meetup in 2019, but we still love this photo and these sweet friendships.

And for her first February 13th post, Plaza just gave us all a reminder of the true meaning of the best day of the year.

Now, the only thing that could really make these posts better is if Donna were in them—but we know Treat Yo’ Self is more her kind of holiday.
