  • America's Got Talent returns for Season 14 on Tuesday, May 28 at 8 pm ET.

  • Some big changes are coming-Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum, and Mel B have all left the show.

  • Terry Crews will replace Tyra as host, while Gabrielle Union and Julianne Hough will join the judges.

Hot summer nights are right around the corner, and the competition on America's Got Talent is about to heat up right along with them. That's right, the fan-favorite reality competition show is back for Season 14 this May, and it already seems like it'll be better than ever.

If you're a die-hard AGT fan, you already know to expect top-notch talent from tons of different variety acts. But all that amazingness only scratches the surface. Here's everything else you can look forward to this season:

America's Got Talent Season 14 premieres on Tuesday, May 28 at 8 pm ET.

Mark your calendar for some quality couch time that night. Watch the season premiere on NBC, or, if you're a cord cutter, you can still stream the show live from the NBC app, simply by signing into your (or let's be real, your parents') cable provider account. Got a wild Tuesday night planned? No problem-you can also watch the next day on Hulu.

A new host will take over the AGT stage.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine fans will spot a familiar face this season: Terry Crews. The actor and former NFL player (casual) is taking over hosting duties from model Tyra Banks, who hosted seasons 12 and 13.

It's unknown why Tyra chose to step down this season, though she did tell Access Hollywood way back in November 2018: "I think I had a really nice run with AGT... I’m going to be producing TV, and I have a massive project starting next year. I’m not so sure, but if I don’t come back, I had a lot of fun."

Tyra will certainly be missed by AGT fans, but at least they can rest easy knowing the show is in good hands, considering Terry has already showed off his hosting chops in the most recent season of America's Got Talent: The Champions. (He also hosted Who Wants To Be A Millionaire from 2014 to 2015, per Deadline.)

Gabrielle Union and Julianne Hough are the newest AGT judges.

After a solid six season run, judges Heidi Klum and Mel B have said goodbye to America's Got Talent. While fans are sad to see them go, they're already looking forward to seeing how the two new hosts, actress Gabrielle Union and dancer Julianne Hough (both of whom are Women's Health cover stars, btw), shake up the show this season.

Gabrielle is new to judging competitions (unless you count the shade she threw at the Toros' stolen cheer performance in Bring It On), but Julianne is already a pro, having previously been a judge on Dancing With The Stars. (Not to mention that judging reality competition shows basically runs in her family-Julianne's brother Derek is a judge on World of Dance.)

And because this isn't Julianne's first rodeo, she's already opened up to TODAY about her judging style. ""I'm honest and direct...but all with love," she said. "The fact is, we want people to succeed, so we're already rooting for you before you even begin."

Judges Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel will return this season.

Not only will Simon Cowell (arguably the world's most famous TV competition judge) will return to host this season of America's Got Talent, but he's also an executive producer. "I want to thank NBC for their continued passion and belief for America’s Got Talent over the past few years," Simon said in a statement when his return was officially announced in 2018. "...We have been able to attract the best talent in the world. I’m very excited for the next few years."

Fellow longtime judge Howie Mandel also gushed to USA Today about how much he loves being a part of AGT. "I feel that I am on probably the most well-produced show on television," he told the publication in August 2018. "...As somebody who is familiar with what goes on behind the scenes, there is no show that is comparable, even close."

Think you know **everything** about America's Got Talent? Think again...

You'll meet some pretty awesome guest judges, too.

According to TalentRecap, former Tonight Show host Jay Leno will be the first guest judge on AGT this season. After him comes country singer Brad Paisley, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt star and The Office alum Ellie Kemper, and a surprise mystery judge. These judges will take their guest spot on the panel during Judge Cuts episodes.

They each get the opportunity to hit the Golden Buzzer (oooh) once, which will send a performer straight to the live shows. (ICYDK, the regular judges also get to press the Golden Buzzer whenever they want to send a contestant to the live shows.)

Obvi, the identity of the contestants who will receive Golden Buzzers are kept under wraps, but one thing's for sure about the newest season of AGT: you won't want to miss a second of it.
