Get ready, America's Got Talent fans, because you'll want to hear what the show just revealed about its future.

Over the last few months, fans of the hit TV franchise have had their fill of unique skills and tricks, thanks to the debut of the spinoff, America's Got Talent: Fantasy League and the return of previous contestants from seasons past. But when the season 1 finale of the series revealed the Ramadhani Brothers (who first participated in season 18 and came back to be members of judge Howie Mandel's team) were the victors, it only made viewers more curious about whether a new installment of the original series was in the works.

Well, it looks like folks got the announcement they were waiting for. AGT will return to dazzle viewers with new competitors looking to be crowned the winner and receive the $1 million prize. But before we find out who will come out on top, here's what to know about AGT season 19:

Is America's Got Talent season 19 coming back in 2024?

Good news for fans of the reality show — America's Got Talent season 19 will be back sooner than you'd think!

In an exclusive reveal from People on March 19, the new season will premiere on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. The audition episodes will air every week until August 13, when the live shows begin, followed by the results shows on Wednesday nights.

Shortly after the announcement was made, the show's social team confirmed the news on X (formerly known as Twitter). "We're so back! #AGT premieres Tuesday, May 28 at 8/7c on @nbc and streaming on @peacock."

Naturally, folks were thrilled to see this surprise development from AGT and rushed to comment about it. "See all of you on May 28!!" one person wrote. "Here we go again 🎉🤩 🔥❤️," another declared. "Can't wait 😄😄," a different viewer added.

Are there any clues on what to expect from America's Got Talent season 19 in 2024?

When speaking with People for the first look, judge Simon Cowell noted that he and judges Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Sofía Vergara will each have two Golden Buzzers in the upcoming season, while host Terry Crews will keep his one. As a reminder, the Golden Buzzer sends an act right to the live shows, without requiring a majority vote from the panel.

"In the first two days we’ve used more Golden Buzzers than we’ve ever used — that’s got to be a good sign!" Simon told the outlet after the first week of auditions in Pasadena, California.

Who are the judges on America's Got Talent season 19?

Like with previous seasons, fans can expect Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Sofía Vergara to return as judges for AGT season 19. And if that wasn't all, Terry Crews will be back onstage as the series' host.

Heidi documented returning for a new season by uploading a number of BTS posts on Instagram. The first day of filming the auditions was March 16, and she shared a video featuring her fellow judges on Instagram to mark the occasion.

"@agt 🥳🎉 auditions," she captioned the snippet.

While Sofía was not a judge for the spinoff series America's Got Talent: Fantasy League, she's back for AGT season 19. She uploaded a selfie of her, Heidi and Howie on Instagram, displaying how she's already back in her element.

"Day 2 of auditions!💫 @agt," she wrote on March 17.
