It looks like American Pickers star Danielle Colby is taking control of the comment section on her Instagram feed. The show is facing controversy after the sudden departure of Frank Fritz, who has been outspoken about his relationship with Mike Wolfe. Colby has starred alongside Wolfe and Fritz as the since the show began in 2010, but her friendship with Wolfe goes back 10 years before the show started.

She recently posted a photo on Instagram of her and Wolfe smiling with their arms around each other with the caption, "I love getting to spend time with @mikewolfeamericanpicker Head on over to my Patreon right now for a little behind the scenes Patreon-exclusive photo dump from this week." Though the photo gained nearly 6,000 likes from Colby's fans, she chose to turn off the comments.

Her comments were also notably turned off on her August 2 post about Fritz's departure. She referred to Wolfe as her "brother" and "best friend" and said, "I'm truly saddened for the loss of Frank on the show. I'm incredibly sad for his struggles. I have personally watched everything over the last decade. I have many thoughts but won't speak them as they are only my thoughts, not gospel. I wish things could have been different but we must be accountable for our actions when we cause instability or pain and suffering to others.

While we can't be 100% sure why Colby shut off her comments on her two posts, we do have a feeling it has to do with the drama between Fritz and Wolfe, especially after Fritz did an interview with The Sun calling out Wolfe for supposedly not reaching out to him when he hurt his back and how he felt Wolfe's statement about him leaving the show was insincere. "Mike’s statement was bulls—, somebody wrote it out for him," Fritz said. "He knows I hurt my back, everyone in the whole network knew I hurt my back, but did one person - just one - call and see how I was? No. So how does that make you feel? It makes you feel like you’re just a number," he said.

All we can say is we hope they can all mend their relationships soon ...
