While Kaden Lebsack continues celebrating his victory on American Ninja Warrior season 14, the sports competition show is serving more action with familiar faces.

On Monday night, the first-ever American Ninja Warrior Family Championship aired and was an instant hit among thrill-seeking enthusiasts. The two-hour special TV event featured 10 families competing relay-style on a six-part obstacle course. What’s more, folks may have recognized several faces because the groups were comprised of family members who’ve competed individually in American Ninja Warrior in the past.

After four teams advanced to the Power Tower tournament, the Auer family came out on top. Though the family's showdown against the Beckstrand clan came down to seconds, it seems like it’s going to be a moment that will be talked about for a long time.

Reacting to the inaugural American Ninja Warrior Family Championship, fans immediately took to the show’s Instagram comments section to share their thoughts on the event.

“Awesome 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥,” one person wrote. “Really enjoyed the family competition! Great teams!! ❤️,” another added. “❤️ Great to watch & wonderful family ninja fun,” a different fan said.

So, will there be another American Ninja Warrior Family Championship next year? Right now, there isn’t information about a second face-off after a potential American Ninja Warrior season 15 finale. According to outlets, the special was announced in late 2020 and filmed in 2021.

Similarly, there’s no word about American Ninja Warrior returning for season 15. But given that season 14 had a steady 2.8 million viewers each week, there’s a good chance the longtime series will come back next year (probably in May or June based on previous premiere dates).

In the meantime, the Auer family will join Kaden in the American Ninja Warrior history books.
