American Idol 2022 winner Noah Thompson may be performing new tunes out on the road, but he always makes time for his family.
In a new series of pictures posted to his Instagram, Noah gave his followers a glimpse into his personal life when he's not touring. ICYMI: The Kentucky native shared photos of his son Walker, whom he shares with his girlfriend Angel Dixon. The heartwarming snaps featured the two spending time outdoors. Wearing matching trucker caps, the country singer attempted to get Walker to look at the camera.
But in the process, he realized he accidentally made a tiny dad error. "Poor feller lost his shoe 🤣," he jokingly captioned the October 1 post.
As soon as American Idol fans noticed that Noah had shared a heartwarming update about Walker, many immediately jumped into the comments section to share their thoughts. One thing everyone picked up on was how much alike the father-son duo looked when posing side-by-side.
"Precious. He is your mini me for sure 😍," one person wrote on Instagram. "He is so adorable! Those eyes!!! He looks just like you!!" another added. "Looks just like ya Noah😍!!," a different fan said.
Aside from playing shows and being a dad to his son, what exactly is Noah up to these days? It looks like he's making good on his American Idol win.
Since leaving the ABC singing competition show, he's been spending time in the recording studio. Folks are aware the singer released a cover of Rihanna's "Stay" earlier this summer in July. But it looks like he's about to drop more new music.
After sharing his photos with Walker, Noah posted a snippet of what will potentially be his next single. Judging from the opening chords and the hint of lyrics, we may just have a hit on our hands.
Either way, Noah has a lot to look forward to while bringing along his family for the ride.
