'American Horror Story's Leslie Grossman Mourns Major Family Loss

Leslie Grossman is grieving the loss of someone very close to her.

On Wednesday, Oct. 4, the American Horror Story star took to social media to deliver a heartfelt tribute to her father, Marshall Grossman, who recently passed away following a battle with Parkinson's disease.

While sharing a series of photos from throughout her dad's life to Instagram, the 51-year-old actress wrote in the caption, "We said goodbye to my dad Marshall Grossman after a long battle with Parkinson’s."

"He was a legend in his work and his philanthropy but he always always put his family first," she continued of her father, who was a well-known Los Angeles attorney. He died earlier in the week at the age of 84.

The What I Like About You alum went on to say, "I will forever feel grateful and lucky he was my father."

Grossman's father was known for working with a slew of notable celebrities throughout his career, including the likes of Steven Spielberg, Clint Eastwood, J.K. Rowling and Mariah Carey.

He also represented Erin Andrews after she was videotaped nude through a hotel door in 2008, helping her win a $55 million payout in the lawsuit.

While paying homage to her late dad, Grossman shared more photos to her Instagram Story on Wednesday, including one snap of her wrapping her arms around his shoulders.

"Something that has brought me great comfort is knowing that nothing was left unsaid between me and my dad," she wrote under the photo. "He knew how much I loved him and I knew how much he loved me."

She shared another snap of her dad's luscious locks of hair, writing, "A critical thing to know about my dad: he had the most incredible head of hair known to man. Up until the very end."

Grossman also shared an article from Deadline memorializing her father, as well as a photo of his favorite Whiskey, Crown Royal, while inviting her fans to "have one in his honor."

After sharing her emotional Instagram post, Grossman received an outpouring of support from her friends and followers, including AHS cast mate Sarah Paulson who wrote, "I love you so much."

Billie Lourd also chimed in to leave a series of pink heart emojis "💞💞💞" under the post.

Grossman also recieved a message from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Lisa Rinna, who commented, "I am so sorry 🥲."
