American Bulldog's 'Pre-Bath Moods' Have People Absolutely Delighted

He goes through every emotion in less than a minute!

Ah, bath time. For some dogs, it's a piece of cake, but even at-home baths can leave dogs feeling some type of way. And Captain the American Bulldog is no exception!

Even though he takes his baths like a champ, the anticipation leading up to his scrub-down has him going through all sorts of moods. Luckily, his owner caught them all on film for @captain.and.crew's TikTok account.

Aw, Captain! That Oscar-worthy performance has us hoping he can get out of bath time somehow, but we know water won't actually hurt him. Still, he's the one who needs convincing!

"He’s going through a roller coaster of emotions," wrote commenter @jacampisi74. "Poor sweetie!" We're sure we're not the only ones who wish they could give Captain a cuddle or a treat, but rest assured--he was heavily rewarded after he faced his fears.

His owner replied to @tkha1970, "we played hide and seek with treats after the bath!" Aww, we're sure Captain absolutely loved that. With enough positive reinforcement, maybe he won't be so frightened of the bath next time! It's certainly been done before.

"Sweet baby!! When I gave my boy a bath he hated it but loved all the snugs post-bath," @leannmce shared. That's a familiar story to a lot of pet parents! Even this Bully boy's human said, "currently he is curled up between my legs completely out cold." We can practically picture it! Captain seems like the sweetest pup, and now he's the cleanest pup, too. Can it get any cuter than that?
