At a time when travel can pose a health and safety risk due to the COVID-19 pandemic, people are finding ways to recreate the excitement of vacation while at home. Hosting themed family dinners at home, recreating famous recipes from theme parks, and participating in Airbnb virtual experiences are some of the ways you can staycation. Even better though now, to mimic the excitement of getting on a plane, American Airlines is starting a wine club.

If you've ever ordered wine while flying in the first class or business class cabins of an American Airlines flight, you've had the airline's specialty wines. As many people continue to be vigilant about staying home and minimizing unnecessary travel, the airline wants to give people a way to stay connected to that feeling of wanderlust.

Flagship Cellars will offer a la carte or bundle packages of the exact wines served on American Airlines flights. When you browse the Flagship Cellars website, you can choose between reds, whites, Champagnes, and port and can buy them by the bottle or purchase a subscription. With a subscription, you'll get three wines every month and can choose between all reds or a mix of reds and whites.

For those who are frequent flyer members of American Airlines' AAdvantage program, you can earn two miles per each dollar spent through Flagship Cellars as well. All that's left to do is decide what kind of bottles you want to sip on while you daydream about your next adventure.
