American Airlines is getting ready to take travelers to more exciting places next year. The airline just announced new flights to three European cities starting in 2024: Copenhagen, Denmark, Naples, Italy, and Nice, France. They’re also adding flights to Barcelona, Spain, and Venice, Italy. This is the biggest expansion in Europe for American Airlines since 2019.

The airline’s network plans to soar with over 65 daily departures to 17 European hotspots. They will provide travelers with a plethora of options for their continental escapades. Alongside the introduction of new routes, American Airlines will resume flights to popular gateways, such as Athens, Dublin, Lisbon and Rome. These flights will begin to operate earlier in the upcoming year. This move promises to offer customers an early jumpstart on their travel plans for 2024.

“American is thrilled to add three new European destinations,” said Brian Znotins, American Airlines’ Senior Vice President of Network and Schedule Planning. “New service from Philadelphia and expanded trans-Atlantic service from Chicago and Dallas-Fort Worth will offer customers convenient one-stop access from more than 200 unique destinations across the U.S. to Europe
next summer.”

This new service is starting from the company’s big airports in Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth and Philadelphia. American Airlines will have flights again between Philadelphia and San Antonio. This will let you catch a flight to Europe from San Antonio with just one stop. The company also has more flights to Barcelona from the U.S. than any other airline, making it a good choice if you want to go there and explore.

American Airlines is growing frequencies to Mexico, the Caribbean and Latin America, with more flights to Cozumel and Buenos Aires.
