The collection also features the brands’ fourth collaborative Dunk design this time in a neon yellow “Flash Lime” iteration with a contrasting black accentuated Swoosh; the colorway pays homage to Tokyo’s bright lights. The sporty collab drops on July 30 at Nike.com and on the SNKRS app with apparel retailing from $50 to $250 and the Dunk Highs retailing for $180.

Ambush founder Yoon Ahn explained that the capsule pulls inspiration from the Japanese motorcycle subculture with nods to anime influences as well. The idea behind the collection is to demonstrate how fashion and sport coincide in a new and innovative way.

Together, Ambush and Nike released a trio of Dunk High sneakers that come with their own recognizable touch. Each pair features a unique Swoosh logo that lifts off the upper in a reference to the bike, car and truck culture in Japan.

While her music career is launching off the charts, Megan Thee Stallion herself also racked up a series of high-profile deals in the fashion industry. She previously starred in Puma’s campaign to promote its Cali Sport sneaker back in November 2019 as well as inked the deal with Fashion Nova for spring ’20.

Additionally, the “Cry Baby” rapper made an appearance in Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty lingerie brand’s summer ’20 campaign and Coach’s spring ’21 presentation. Most recently, she helped Coach launch its new collaboration with A Bathing Ape just this week.
