It's the most wonderful time of the year. No, it's not the holiday season: It's Amazon Prime Day season. The online retailer's iconic two-day sale brings out the best deals of the year for Amazon Prime members. With steep discounts up to 60 percent off everything from sports bras to mattresses, there's no better time to shop.

When is Amazon Prime Day 2023?

Amazon Prime Day lasted two days, from July 11 to July 12 in 2023. Yup, it technically ended last week, but Amazon left a few items on sale. But even now, you'l still find deals on everything form big-ticket items like mattresses and TVs to sports bras and sneakers. As a reference, take a look at the Prime Day dates from previous years—in 2020, Prime Day occurred in October. In 2021, Prime Day 2021 happened in June. And in 2022, Prime Day fell in July. But you might remember that Amazon did another Prime-esque day in October 2022, when they launched the two-day "Prime Early Access Sale'. Here's hoping they do that again.

How long will the Amazon Prime Day sale last?

The sale goes for two days, and it officially ended last week. That said, the deals have secretly continued to drop in the past several hours. Our team will continually update this page with deals through the sale.

How does Prime Day work?

Basically, it's a huge benefit for Amazon Prime members. Those with a membership get access to thousands of deals—brands discount their goods for the two-day event. You can find everything from kitchen supplies to electronics to clothing to beauty on sale. For Prime members, no discount code is needed on Prime Day. The discounts are automatically given.

Do you need to be a Prime Member to shop the Prime Day sale?

Yep. If you don't have a Prime membership yet, it costs $15 a month. However, to save you some extra money, the annual membership is available for $139. There are some memberships that are even cheaper. Amazon Prime Student memberships are $7 per month, or $69 per year. And for those on EBT, Medicaid, NAP, and other select government assistance recipients, you may be able to qualify for Prime Access, which is $7 per month.
