THERE'S NEVER a bad time to shop for a new pair of sneakers, but Amazon is giving us a second Prime Day (officially called the Prime Early Access Sale) which means now is a better time than ever to stock up. In fact, we're seeing some of the lowest prices of the year across all product categories for the occasion—footwear and fitness gear included. If your old sneakers have already given out on you we have some good news: there are tons of Prime Day sneaker deals that you can shop right now.

Whether you're looking for running shoes, walking shoes, everyday trainers, or leather dress sneakers, Amazon has plenty of options on sale. That includes brands like Adidas, Reebok and New Balance up to 50% off (yes, you read that correctly). Right now you could cop a pair one of our all-time favorite running shoes—the Adidas Ultraboost— for up to 30% off. What is the Amazon Prime Early Access Sale?

Amazon's Prime Early Access Sale is a two-day sales event where shoppers can start their holiday shopping ahead of schedule with early access to Black Friday deals. The deals will span across all of the retail giant's major shopping categories. Expect to see generous sales on big-ticket items such as furniture, TVs, and laptops, as well as smaller giftable items such as headphones, books, and underwear. Plus, Prime members will also enjoy free trials to GrubHub+ and Amazon Music, along with major deals on Amazon's in-house brands (think: Alexas, Kindles, and Fire TVs, oh my!).

When is the Amazon Prime Early Access Sale?

Amazon's Prime Early Access Sale is happening on October 11 and October 12, 2022. This is six weeks ahead of Black Friday, which is when Amazon and other retailers typically start to offer discounts for the holiday season. (Amazon's first 2022 Prime Day happened this summer on July 12 and July 13.)

How to Prepare for Amazon Prime Day 2022?

What Does Amazon Prime Cost 2022?

Only Amazon Prime subscribers will be able to shop the Prime Early Access Sale. An Amazon Prime membership costs $14.99 per month or $139 per year (there are some discounts for students, seniors and other qualifying individuals). If you have never had an Amazon Prime membership, the company offers a 30-day free trial for first-time subscribers. If you sign up now for a free trial, that would make you eligible to shop the Prime Early Access Sale.
