Amazon has forever changed the meaning of the word fast, pioneering the two-day Prime shipping policy with which it’s now synonymous. Now, it’s aiming to bring some of that speed and ease to helping men with health issues they’re having.

Amazon Clinic, the company’s equivalent of a drop-in doctor’s office, offers on-demand consultations with licensed doctors and nurse practitioners. With an online sign-up portal, users can select the condition they need to address; pick a provider to work with (listed with estimated wait times); and, after working with that clinician, receive a prescription, if needed, to treat the ailment. Clinicians are able to work with patients dealing with a myriad of symptoms, ranging from acne and Covid-19 to high blood pressure and seasonal allergies. And they’re available 24/7, without an appointment.

The men’s health section of Amazon Clinic is designed to provide solutions for issues like erectile dysfunction and hair loss without much down time. While there are some restrictions—the premature-ejaculation treatment, for example, is billed as available only for those assigned male at birth who are currently between the ages of 18 and 64—it’s a convenient way to address these concerns privately.
