Amazing News Alert: Flights to Europe Will Be Extra Cheap This Summer

If you’ve ever dreamed of sipping a glass of rosé in Provence or exploring the Norwegian fjords, then this summer might be the perfect time to do it.

That’s because summer flights to Europe will be the cheapest they’ve been in three years, according to travel search engine Kayak’s annual Travel Hacker Guide.

Those clever data crunchers at Kayak looked at 1.5 billion searches on their site and app to come up with these budget-friendly results. Apparently, median airfare to Europe will clock in just below $700 round-trip, which is 15 percent cheaper than it was in summer 2016 and five percent less than last summer. And sure, that’s still a pretty penny, but remember that a lot of things (wine! cheese!) are cheaper over there. Hey, when in Rome.

The cities with the biggest price drops were Lisbon, Portugal, and Reykjavik, Iceland, which sound pretty great to us.
