Amandla Stenberg Received a Drag Makeover from Monique Heart of “RuPaul’s Drag Race"

Amandla Stenberg has not been unafraid to embrace a new look. From a recent debut of rainbow knotted box braids to a previously jaw-dropping moment at the Met Gala, the future star of The Hate U Give has been a constant source of makeup and fashion inspiration. For her latest makeover moment, Amandla handed the reigns over to Monique Heart of RuPaul's Drag Race and the results are "fierce."

For the newest video in them.'s ongoing Drag Me series, Monique gave Amandla a drag makeover. The new look was a head to toe transformation, complete with plenty of glitter and a colorful makeup palette.

In the video, the season 10 Drag Race contestant walks Amandla through the makeup process, beginning with her eyebrows. Of course, Monique reminds viewers at home that it's always best to begin any makeup application process with a "clean palette." They finish the new look by carefully completing Amandla's brows. According to Monique, the process for a perfect brow includes "prayer, glitter, and Jesus," but she also believes that any mistake can be fixed with concealer.

After completing the makeup, the pair select a new wardrobe and wig for the actor. The final look is totally stunning, and even Amandla seems shocked, saying, "I feel so fierce, powerful like nobody can mess with me. I feel like I can take on the world." In fact, the recent Teen Vogue Summit attendee feels so powerful that she reveals her chosen drag name: Glamandla.
