Amanda Seyfried Is Married! Inside the Actress’s Secret Elopement

Amanda Seyfried is married! The actress’s now-husband, Thomas Sadoski, shared the news last night on The Late Late Show with James Corden. Last fall, word broke that Seyfried (who we would call something of a beauty expert) and Sadoski were expecting their first child together. And now it seems that Seyfried and Sadoski, who met in 2015 while working on the off-Broadway show The Way We Get By, wed last weekend. (The duo are, of course, not exactly the only celebrities to secretly marry, as this week has shown twice.)
“We just took off into the country with an officiant and, just the two of us, and we did our thing . . . We had a great day. It was perfect.” Sadoski, who proposed to Seyfried last summer, said last night to Corden. (The actress’s understated engagement ring, if you recall, caused something of a brouhaha online at the time.)
“It was beautiful. It was everything that it should be. It was just the two of us talking to each other,” Sadoski added about their wedding. After the ceremony itself took place, Sadoski mused on air about the special day. “You take the dog and you walk through the country and you go home, and you have your life. . . . We went out to dinner. It was awesome.”
