Fans have been asking for a Mean Girls reboot for so many years now. But, if there were ever a chance for the cast to come back together and do a revival, would they be up for it?

Last month, stars Amanda Seyfriend and Lindsay Lohan sat down with Interview Magazine and were asked about the possibility of a Mean Girls 2. In the original movie, they both played members of “The Plastics,” the most popular girl group in school.

When asked about a Mean Girls sequel, The Dropout star said, “I would kill just to do one week, all of us playing our own roles on Mean Girls on Broadway.” Lohan chimed in and said it would be “really fun” to reunite with the original cast again.

Before you get your hopes up, Seyfriend quickly asked her former co-star, “Because a Mean Girls 2 is never going to happen, is it?” And Lohan responded, “I don’t know. I heard something about it being a movie musical and I was like, ‘Oh no.’ We can’t do that. It has to be the same tone.”

Seyfriend and Lohan are not the only cast members who would love to reunite with their former co-stars. Actor Jonathan Bennett (who played the dreamy Aaron Samuels) recently chatted with People and shared that he wants to film a Christmas movie with Lohan.

“My dream and my goal is to get to do a Christmas movie with [Lindsay] Lohan and reconnect for the holidays,” he told the magazine. “I think it would be so much fun!”

Where can we sign the petition to have a Mean Girls reunion on Broadway?
