Amanda Seyfried brought all the sexy 1920s glamour to the 2023 Met Gala.

The Dropout star walked the red carpet tonight in the most sophisticated naked dress, custom-made for her by Oscar de la Renta.

The nude, sheer minidress featured a corset bodice and was made up of golden strands cascading from her neck to her thighs. She accessorized with a layered gold necklace that perfectly matched the piece. Keeping the look monochrome, the actress wore golden heeled sandals from Stuart Weitzman, gold hoop earrings and rings, and a gold mani-pedi.

Seyfried paired the flapper-esque dress with a big curly hairdo, a shimmering burgundy smoky eye and a matching bold raspberry lip.

The event's theme, "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty," paid homage to the life and legacy of the late Chanel creative director.

The Costume Institute's exhibition will showcase about 150 of Lagerfeld's designs, as well as some of his sketches, both of which "underscore his complex creative process and the collaborative relationships with his premières, or head seamstresses. Lagerfeld’s fluid lines united his designs for Balmain, Patou, Chloé, Fendi, Chanel, and his eponymous label, Karl Lagerfeld, creating a diverse and prolific body of work unparalleled in the history of fashion," per the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The show focused "on the designer’s stylistic vocabulary as expressed in aesthetic themes that appear time and again in his fashions from the 1950s to his final collection in 2019, the show will spotlight the German-born designer’s unique working methodology," they said.
