Sad news: Amanda Bynes’ engagement is off just three weeks after she announced it. Per Us Weekly, the actress’s fiancé, Paul Michael, confirmed while speaking to In Touch that he and Amanda ended things, saying, “We did. I love her though. She’s my best friend.”

Amanda announced her engagement to Paul back on Valentine’s Day, hitting Instagram to say, “Engaged to tha love of my life.” She also shared a video introducing her fans to Paul, saying, “Hey, everyone, this is Paul, my fiancé. I’m so lucky. As you can see, he’s drop-dead gorgeous. He’s also the best person on the face of the Earth.”

“I just want to let you know that I love you guys and I’m so happy now,” Amanda added. “I feel like I got what’s mine and that is Paul.”

Amanda has yet to confirm the end of her engagement, but she’s deleted her Instagram pictures of Paul. Meanwhile, a source tells Us that her conservatorship is one of the reasons the relationship ended: “Paul realized the relationship just couldn’t go forward because of the obstacles of the conservatorship and Amanda must live at a sober living facility.”

Amanda recently announced that she’s been sober for a year and two months.
