Amala Paul out of Dhanush’s Vaada Chennai?

Dhanush has been a busy man these days with quite a few films under his belt. She turned to direction with Power Paandi with Rajkiran as the lead and the film went to become a successful one making the Dhanush the most versatile artist in the industry. From acting to singing to direction, he has tried his hands at all. He is currently busy shooting for his next Velaiilla Pattadhari 2 which also stars Bollywood star Kajol in a pivotal role. He also has Vada Chennai in the pipeline which will be directed by Vetrimaaran.

Vada Chennai has seen quite a few changes in terms of casting since its inception. Samantha Ruth Prabhu was roped in initially as the female lead opposite Dhanush but she had to opt out because of unknown reasons. The makers then brought Amala Paul onboard as the female lead. Reports are coming in that Amala Paul has opted out of Vada Chennai because of her prior commitments and she will soon be replaced by another actress.

Rumours are rife that Aishwarya Rajesh will be the replacement for Amala Paul and the makers have already signed her on. “Amala Paul couldn’t be part of the film because she had other prior commitments. When the team started the shoot recently, she couldn’t join the crew due to this. Aishwarya Rajesh is the female lead along with Andrea, who is playing the other female lead. Aishwarya has even started shooting for the film,” a source close to the production house was quoted by a leading daily.

Aishwarya was last seen in Kattappava Kaanom alongside Sibi Sathyaraj and has quite a few films in her kitty. With such busy schedule, hope Aishwarya continues to be a part of Vada Chennai.
