I Am Legend 2 in the Works Will Smith Reveals

Sixteen years on from I Am Legend, Will Smith is returning to the story with Michael B. Jordan for a sequel, which might have some audiences confused if they haven't seen the DVD ending.

While many will remember that Smith's character dies at the end, the DVD extras provide an alternate ending where Robert Neville survives, and here is where the sequel will follow on from.

At the Red Sea International Film Festival, Smith revealed, "I have a call with Michael B. Jordan tomorrow. The script just came in" before stopping himself, saying, "I'm probably giving away too much information".

He did, however, drop a just little more, saying, "We're going with the mythology of the DVD version where my character lived," but stopped himself again with, "I can't tell you any more, but Michael B. Jordan is in, and we're doing it."

I Am Legend's writer and producer, Akiva Goldsman is returning, but further information about who else is involved is under wraps.
