The year might be 2020, but if you take a look at fashion today, you might think the art of time travel may have finally been perfected. In case you didn’t notice, trends from the early 2000s are literally everywhere nowadays, meaning I can shamelessly bust out my belly-baring chain-mail tops, micro-mini shoulder bags, and tinted clear sunglasses (with the rhinestone detail, obvi) without a single care in the world. And I have Bella Hadid, Kylie Jenner, and, now, Kendall Jenner to thank for that.

While everyone was getting ready for the Oscars this past weekend, Kendall literally said f*ck the formalities and skipped all events related to the show—you know, despite her sisters Kylie and Kim Kardashian hitting up the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party. Instead of going to a carpeted event, Kendall allowed the streets of New York City to be her personal runway and made a bold fashion choice by showing up and out in a head-to-toe hot-pink crop top, pant, and thong—yes, THONG!—combo.

The best part of it all? Kendall threw on this outfit just to go to dinner with her bestie, Justine Skye. The level of extra is astounding, but it simply leaves me no choice but to stan.
