Alligator Enters Louisiana Home Through the Doggie Door Like It Owns the Joint
Nothing welcomes you to the south like delicious food and an expected visitor in your home. That's exactly what happened to Don and Jan Schultz who just recently moved to Louisiana.
They woke up in the middle of the night to their dog growling. They originally thought someone broke in, but what they ended up seeing is way scarier. At least it's scarier to us as we've never seen on in person. Take a look at the video which was shared on TikTok to the news account @abcnews.

O.M.G. An alligator?! Of all the places this 5-foot-long alligator could've gone, it just had to enter through the doggy door. LOL! We don't even know what we would do if this happened to us. First of all, we'd scream and then we'd grab the dog and run without turning back. This couple actually did the right thing by calling 911 and having wildlife officers come out to remove the alligator.
"I would never walk through the house in the dark again," wrote @aglover09." SAME! Heck, we would probably have to move because we'd be too scared that another alligator would pop out. LOL! "That’s just the welcoming committee," added @downeastdaisy. Thanks, but no thanks!
Surprisingly, this isn't the only wild animal that's ended up in people's homes through a doggy door. Earlier this year, a bobcat find it's way into an Arizona home. This bobcat ended up taking a nap on the dog bed, acting like he owned the place. Luckily, no one or no pet was injured in either situation. Guess everyone needs to start locking the doggy door!
