Allbirds’ New Wool Loungers Are the Coziest Shoes You Can Wear This Winter

Some of the updates in this version of the Wool Lounger include increased heel padding for a better fit and less slip, subtler piping for a sleeker design, and a thicker outsole for more support.
Like many of Allbirds' shoes, this shoe features an upper made from superfine merino wool, which is perfect for keeping toes warm in the winter with or without socks. The Wool Lounger now includes a fortified wool upper blend that makes them more durable than before.
I recently tried Allbirds' Wool Lounger and I felt like I was getting away with something. My feet were impressively comfy but the shoes still feel polished enough to wear like I would any other slip-on sneaker or slipper-like loafer.
One of the best features of these slip-ons is their SweetFoam sole made from Brazilian sugarcane that allows you to comfortably wear them either inside or outside. Many slipper-like shoes are both comfortable and cozy but lack an appropriate sole to venture farther than the front door.
