Viral beauty, fashion, and lifestyle TikTok star Alix Earle is a true Gen Z darling, becoming one of the fastest-growing creators on the app. To everyone's excitement, Alix recently announced the launch of her podcast 'Hot Mess' produced by Alex Cooper's Unwell Network.

Since she became famous for her 'Get Ready With Me' videos, it's no surprise that the mirror is a decor object that holds a special place in the 22-year-old TikTok star's heart. A recent mirror selfie in the entryway of her family's New Jersey home has interior designers in awe.

The photo, posted on Instagram with the caption 'home,' shows Earle posed in an antique-style gilded mirror perched on a side table. On Alix's left, a stack of Assouline travel books adds a modern pop of color. Behind the books, a vintage Victorian candleholder with milk glass flowers creates striking character. Dainty details like a china teacup on a stack of saucers and a dish for keys complete the organized entryway.

Interior designers love how Alix and her family have used this antique mirror in their small entryway idea. Mohammad Ahmed, interior designer at The Home Guidance states, 'A huge mirror can make your space look more open and airy. It reflects light and gives an illusion of extra space, making it perfect for smaller rooms or apartments.'

He continues, 'A mirror adds a touch of elegance and can become a stunning focal point in any room. An antique mirror in particular adds a sense of history and sophistication. This style is perfect for an entryway because it sets a glamorous tone for guests and residents as they enter the home.'

Jennifer Ebert, Digital Editor at Homes & Gardens loves the way Alix's designer has combined varied elements on the console table. 'I really admire the way Alix put together the antique mirror with the antique candleholders, but did not stick exclusively to this motif,' says Jennifer.

'The colorful, modern books help to add warmth and playfulness that keeps the look of the foyer fun. Creating an artful contrast between contemporary and vintage styles is almost always a winning design choice,' Jennifer adds.
