Alison Brie just proved that there's nothing more underrated than a self-timer photo shoot. Alison gave fans a glimpse of her mega-toned abs and defined legs in an adorable, polka dot, cut-out dress as she posed for her IG self-timer series.

The actress clearly had some fun with the one-on-one photo shoot, and she even included a mid-pose action shot. Because really, it wouldn't be an Alison Brie post without some comedy to it.

"🖤 loves a timer series 🖤 #spinmeround," the 39-year-old actress captioned the post. The hashtag references Alison's new movie, Spin Me Round, which premiered on August 19, in theaters and is available to stream in a VOD format only on AMC+, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

One fan described the post as "enchanting 🥰." Another follower drew attention to their fave shot in the series: "The pose in the 3rd picture😇😇😇❤️❤️." A third fan simply wrote, "🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥." Sometimes an emoji just says it best.

Alison is dedicated to her fitness routine and isn't afraid of heavy weights. In preparation for the Netflix show GLOW back in 2017, Alison shifted her cardio-focused workouts to incorporate more strength-training exercises.

“Everything was cardio, cardio, cardio,” Alison said while reflecting on her old workout routine. She was inspired to start strength training in her late twenties and now works out with her trainer, Jason Walsh, CEO of Rise Nation, to build muscle, she told WH in 2020.

Alison and Walsh focus on "primitive movements" during their training sessions, which consist of crawling or rolling, pushing and pulling a heavy sled, performing trap bar deadlifts, and doing squats or lunges with a handheld steel hose.

Increasing her strength “took the motivation out of being skinny for Hollywood standards and made it about being strong for lifting other women, literally. There was a real goal,” Alison told WH.

In an Instagram story from December, Alison can be seen doing a combo of one-legged squats while gripping a barbell with some additional hefty weights. She also showed off some weighted jump squats and an elevated plank on a bench. Talk about coordination!

I think it's fair to say that Alison's time at the gym is intense.

“Heavy lifting is so empowering—you really feel like a badass,” Alison said, per Well + Good. By the time filming for GLOW began, Alison said she was "deadlifting 165 pounds, hip thrusting up to 300 pounds, and doing multiple sets of 10 pull-ups.” Mega impressive!

Keep up the good work, Alison!
