Alien Romulus Gets Thrilling First Teaser Trailer and Poster
Huge news for fans of the Alien franchise, Alien: Romulus has its first teaser along with an ominous first-look poster.
Director and co-writer of the film, Fede Alvarez, shared the poster on social media with the simple caption #AlienRomulus.
The studio behind the film, 20th Century Studios, released the one-minute teaser trailer, which has us creep through an empty spacecraft before landing on a pool of blood.
From there, chaos ensues with claws launching, sparks flying, creatures emerging from places they shouldn't and explosions occurring, all within a compressed sixty seconds.
Due to hit theaters on August 16, Alien: Romulus stars Isabela Merced, Cailee Spaeny, Archie Renaux, David Jonsson, Spike Fearn and Aileen Wu.
Alvarez co-wrote the script with Rodo Sayagues, with Ronald Shusett and Dan O'Bannon credited for the characters,
Alien: Romulus follows young people from a distant world who must face the most terrifying life form in the universe.
