Alicia Keys 'Swims' With Horses During Tropical Birthday Getaway With Husband

The musician took fans along for her 'once in a lifetime' adventure.

Alicia Keys is ditching winter weather by celebrating her birthday in the best way possible—on vacation.

The soulful songstress commemorated her 42nd spin around the sun, which was Jan. 25, while enjoying turquoise waters, golden sand, and blue skies with her hubby, producer extraordinaire Swizz Beatz.

In a joint video uploaded to both of their Instagram accounts, they gave fans a glimpse of their picturesque horseback ride through the ocean—an activity, Keys divulged in the clip, that was somewhat out of the ordinary for the pair.

The tropical adventure saw both musicians out at sea led by the stallions' owner, seemingly enjoying the tranquil vibe of it all.

"Getting him to do new things!!" the "Fallin'" singer wrote in the caption of the Jan. 26 post. "Could You Be Loved" by Bob Marley and the Wailers played over the social media vid.

The "Girl on Fire" artist recorded the snippet selfie-style, as she appeared on-camera in an aqua blue-colored long-sleeve netted floor-length dress-swimsuit combo ensemble with a plunging neckline and waist belt detail. She wore her hair in cornrows pulled-back into larger braids that hung down her back, accessorizing with chunky gold hoop earrings.

On the horse next to her sat the Grammy-winning hitmaker, donning a white and salmon-colored two-piece short set.

Though the "On to the Next One" collaborator voiced his gripes during the excursion, in the end, he explained trying something new was worth it.

Wrapping up the experience, Swizz and Alicia reflected on the escapade, summarizing the event. "I appreciate you pushing the boundaries and limits. I never knew that horse[s] could swim," the "It's Me Snitches" rapper stated, saying that he'd do "anything for love; anything for her birthday."

"I actually liked it and it was a great adventure," he declared, before sharing a smooch with his wife.
