Ali Wong has officially filed for divorce from her husband Justin Hakuta.

The stand-up comedian and actress cited "irreconcilable differences" as her reason for divorce, noting that the former couple has been separated since April 10, 2022, according to court docs obtained by People.

The couple didn't wait long to confirm they called it quits, as two days later, a rep for Wong, 41, went public with the information and announced she separated from her husband of nearly eight years.

"It's amicable and they will continue to co-parent lovingly," a source shared with the outlet at the time.

The Always Be My Maybe actress met Hakuta at a wedding back in 2010, and four years later, they tied the knot. The former couple went on to welcome their first daughter, Mari Hakuta, in 2015, and their second, Nikki Hakuta, in 2017.

Then, in March 2023, the Beef star finally broke her silence and opened up about what she described as her "unconventional" divorce.

"We're really, really close; we're best friends," she told The Hollywood Reporter in a feature published on March 1. "We've been through so much together. It's a very unconventional divorce."

Wong even revealed that the former couple had plans to travel together with their daughters during her tour over the summer, which she joked would be called "the Single Lady tour," as it was her first time performing since announcing the breakup.

The two remained amicable after their breakup, as Wong went on to admit the "hardest part" of divorce was telling her mom about it.

"I had told her before that I thought we might get divorced, and she was really upset," Wong told THR. "She looked me in the eye and asked, 'Can you just wait till I die?' She was literally asking me to not live a life for myself."

"But she's 82, what do I expect? She hasn't had her period in 40 years. She's in the sha-ha-hallows of senior citizenship," she continued, "But it was still really f--king hard dealing with all her fear of the shame it would bring her."
