TikTok is great for many things, but it's especially great for finding unique recipes and nifty cooking hacks. From air fryer Nutella toast pies and Dr Pepper brownies, there are so many recipes trending on TikTok—and we can always count on Alex Drummond to find them for us! One of the last TikTok recipes she raved about was ice cream fruit roll-ups, and given how good they were, we're definitely inclined to listen to all of her recommendations.

Now, she's found a hack for making copycat Starbucks egg bites right at home! Yep, you read that right. If you're anything like Alex, you love the bite-sized breakfast item on the coffee chain's menu. So, you'll be so excited to learn how to make them yourself. And all it takes is one nifty gadget... and some eggs, of course.

Alex says, "I'm addicted to the Starbucks egg bites and I saw videos on TikTok of this egg bite maker that literally makes like Starbucks egg bites, so I'm giving it a try." Well, so are we! 😍 The gadget you'll want to get is the DASH Deluxe Sous Vide Style Egg Bite Maker, which is on Amazon for less than $30. While Alex bought a classic black color, you can also get it in aqua, cream, yellow, red, or white.

It comes with four mini molds for egg bites as well as a large mold for egg sandwiches—and the non-electric parts are dishwasher safe. Alex was so excited to try it out, she even overnighted it! And lucky for us, she also took to her Instagram with a step-by-step tutorial on how to make the copycat Starbucks order. Did we mention it takes less than ten minutes?

To start, Alex says she "whisked together three eggs and a little bit of milk and some salt and pepper." Adding, "I'm going to be so excited if this works because I'm literally obsessed with Starbucks egg bites. I feel like they're the perfect little protein breakfast/lunch."

After whisking the eggs, you'll just pour the egg mixture into the molds that sit on water inside the egg maker. "It cooks them in this like water bed which is apparently the proper method," says Alex. She's right! That water actually works with the heating plate to steam the eggs sous vide style. Alex continues, "So I'm just gonna pour them into these little molds. They're silicone, which apparently helps it not stick." Just be sure you don't overfill the molds. After all, you'll want to leave room for all your mix-ins.

Once you've poured the egg mixture, it's time for the fun part! You can add your preferred meat, veggies, or cheeses to create your own unique bites. Alex says, "I didn't have any bacon, which is what I would probably prefer to put in it. So I just diced up a little bit of the little smokies to put inside of them and cheese." Yum! Next, you'll just close the gadget and let your egg bites cook.

Don't those look just egg-cellent? "They look like Starbucks... they smell magnificent," says Alex. And as for the taste... "Omg 10/10!! SO YUMMY. Can't wait to have some fun with some other ingredients."
