Alexis Ohanian, the cofounder of Reddit, has no qualms with being known as the husband of tennis icon Serena Williams in the public eye.

On Tuesday, Ohanian retweeted a message about representation in sports from The Gist USA, which referred to him as "Serena Williams' husband." In response, a user wrote to the Internet entrepreneur, "I love how you don't mind that they call you Serena William's husband."

Ohanian wrote back, "I'll be a self-made billionaire one day and most people will still know me as Serena's husband (or Olympia's dad) and that's fine by me."

He also posted a screenshot of the sweet exchange to his Instagram, writing in the caption, "TBH I'm hoping to be known as '@olympiaohanian's papa.'"

Williams and Ohanian married in 2017 in a lavish ceremony in New Orleans, which saw guests like Beyoncé and Kim Kardashian. The two share a three-year-old daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr.

Last month, the Grand Slam–winning athlete got real about married life during a rapid-fire round of questions with Bumble, a dating app. "Marriage is not bliss," Williams said, per People. "But it can be if you work at it."

She added, "A dealbreaker for me in a relationship is definitely loyalty. Well, not having it, that is."

Williams continued, offering pearls of wisdom on dealing with heartbreak too. "Heartbreak is a part of life, whether it be a loved one, a boyfriend, or an animal," said the athlete. "But time heals all wounds."
