Alexandre Arnault Discusses Beyoncé’s Tiffany & Co. Jewelry During Her Renaissance World Tour

Beyoncé’s critically acclaimed Renaissance World Tour came to an end on Sunday, with the Grammy-winning musician making waves for her eye-catching custom wardrobe just as much as her captivating performance.

In addition to wearing bespoke costumes from major fashion houses like Loewe, Valentino, Mugler, Alexander McQueen and many others, Beyoncé sported an array of custom and archival pieces from Tiffany & Co. throughout the North American and European tour as the heritage jewelry brand was the official jeweler of the musician’s tour.

“The pieces created for the Renaissance World Tour are one-of-a-kind and are inspired by many designs from the Tiffany archives,” said Tiffany & Co. executive vice president of product and communications Alexandre Arnault. “It’s been exciting to see our custom jewelry come to life and take the stage throughout the highly anticipated tour.”

Beyoncé, who was tapped as a Tiffany brand ambassador in 2021, sported several custom pieces from the jeweler, many of which were inspired by existing Tiffany collections and its archive.

These include custom vintage-inspired swirl diamond earrings during her concert in Toronto on July 8 and custom bee-inspired diamond earrings during her concert in Los Angeles on Sept. 1, among other pieces.

“The custom pieces created for the tour allowed our design team to experiment and uplift Tiffany & Co.’s legendary archives, continuing our legacy of innovation and creative excellence,” Arnault said. “During her Dallas performance, Beyoncé wore a custom Lock bracelet with over 90 Paraiba tourmaline stones and a round bar set with over 30 diamonds. The exceptional stones in the custom bracelet resemble our iconic Tiffany blue hue and incorporate a unique twist to our Tiffany Lock design.”

Tiffany also created several custom stage looks for Beyoncé that were some of her most memorable styles from the tour. Her most standout custom look was arguably the custom mesh dress inspired by longtime Tiffany jeweler Elsa Peretti’s designs that she wore during her Toronto show on July 8.

According to Arnault, the dress was inspired by Peretti’s Diamonds by the Yard and Mesh designs. Beyoncé’s dress was created with chains of bezel-set stones and took more than 200 hours to create.

Tiffany & Co. also collaborated with other designers to create custom looks for Beyoncé’s tour. One such look was created in collaboration with designer Giles Deacon. The look, which Beyoncé wore during her July 22 concert in Chicago, was a custom, patent leather minidress designed in Tiffany’s signature blue hue. She paired the look with a custom Tiffany twisted collar necklace.

During the tour, Tiffany and Beyoncé released the Return to Tiffany x Beyoncé collection in July, which offered pieces that reinterpreted the jeweler’s signature Return to Tiffany motif. The jeweler donated 100 percent of profits from the collection to the About Love scholarship program, which is an ongoing partnership between Tiffany and Beyoncé’s BeyGood Foundation and the Shawn Carter Foundation.

In addition to jewelry and stage looks, Tiffany custom-created a range of hats and sunglasses for the musician.

“We worked closely with Beyoncé and her team to create pieces that are truly exceptional and reflect the same energy and vibrance seen in her performances,” Arnault said. “Each piece was created with the utmost attention to detail and craftsmanship that Tiffany is known for.”
