When it comes to visiting a new place, Alexandra Daddario always has one tasty "must-do" on her itinerary.

"I love going to the local McDonald's," the actress shared with Travel + Leisure in an interview. "I love going to McDonald's in different countries and seeing what they're offering."

She's especially a fan of McDonald's in Hawaii, where they serve scrambled eggs with rice.

The actress, well-known for her role in travel-centric showThe White Lotus, recently teamed up with Hilton and American Express to unveil the newly enhanced Hilton Honors American Express Surpass and Aspire Card, and explained that stacking points is the fastest way to score great deals.

"You get more points with your Amex Hilton Surpass card that you can use toward stays and flights and travel, just from using your card for everyday things that you'd be buying anyway, like groceries and online shopping," Daddario said. "It makes traveling easier and more fun."

Aisle or window?
Window. I like to hide out and hopefully not have to pee, although that's happened before where I've had to jump over someone sleeping, and that's the worst.
One product you can't travel without?
For the holidays, red Dior lipstick. And I love this oil called Vintner's Daughter.
How do you make long flights comfortable?
Sleep. Bring your melatonin, and make sure you have plenty of moisturizer on, put your eye mask on, and drink a ton of water.
What's your favorite destination that you've been to?
New York. It feels like I'm going home, it's such a great town.
Dream trip?
Thailand. It’s been on my list for a really long time, and I haven't been. I've heard incredible things, and Hilton has this incredible hotel [there], and I just want to go eat the food.

While Daddario, a native New Yorker, told T+L that travel has always been a big part of her life, things ramped up when she joined the entertainment industry and got to live in places like Tokyo for work, and the aforementioned Hawaii during her time filming season one of the hit HBO show, giving her an all-new appreciation for seeing the world.

"Even going to New Orleans for the first time, I couldn't believe how different it was from New York," she said, "I didn't really have a sense of the rest of the country, and once I saw that I only wanted to see more."

For Daddario, traveling has allowed her to see life through a new lens, how people from different corners of the U.S. and the globe "live and eat," and allowed her to learn everything she can about other cultures.

"I think travel really opens your eyes up to all the magic that's in the world, and you get to try new food and have fun," she said.

However, the foodie said there is one person she'd rather not share a meal with on a trip; her on-screen husband Shane, played by Jake Lacy.

"I'd avoid traveling with my 'husband,' Jake, because I did that already, and it didn't work out," she said with a laugh.

But as for any other cast mates?

"I travel with Jennifer Coolidge anywhere," she said.
