Alex Rodriguez Shared a Cryptic Instagram Amid Bennifer Reunion Rumors
As Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck continue to spark reunion rumors, Lopez's ex, Alex Rodriguez, is cryptically making references to a "new phase" on his Instagram.
In a screenshot obtained by Glamour, Rodriguez had posted about a "new beginning" in his life, the same day Lopez was photographed with Affleck in Miami.
"I am about to step into a new beginning in my life," he wrote in an Instagram story. "Anything that doesn't serve me is clearing out of my life. New levels are unlocking for me mentally, physically, and spiritually. I am remaining patient and know that this new phase of my life is coming."
Says it all, really.
The former New York Yankees player also was asked directly about his feelings regarding the Bennifer reunion earlier this month, to which he responded with a "Go Yankees!" and a smile. Of course, Affleck's favorite team is the Boston Red Sox (who, by the way, gave J.Lo a shoutout recently), whose longtime rivals are the New York Yankees, so take that as you will.

It's also not the first time Rodriguez has shared a not-so-subtle post-breakup Instagram. Just before his split with Lopez was announced, he shared a video of a J.Lo shrine on Instagram, set to Coldplay's "Fix You."
Wishing Rodriguez all the best in his new era — which we're sure to bear witness to, whether by Instagram or otherwise.
