Alex Rodriguez Seemingly Hinted at His Split With Jennifer Lopez On Instagram

After weeks of speculation, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have officially split. The couple announced on the Today show this morning that they've called off their four-year engagement and ended their relationship. Since reports of their breakup last month, A-Rod and JLo tried to work through their differences, but have decided to move forward as friends.

In a joint statement, they explained: “We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support."

While the statement isn't surprising, A-Rod seems to have hinted at his split with Lopez just yesterday on Instagram. In a video posted to his story, Rodriguez shows a collection of photographs featuring Lopez and their children, along with a portrait of their names drawn in the sand from their 2019 engagement. And what else? A-Rod even tagged JLo in a heart (!!!) while Coldplay's Sad Song™️ “Fix You” plays in the background.
