How Alex Rodriguez Reportedly Feels About Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s Reunion

No surprise here: Alex Rodriguez reportedly isn't thrilled about his ex Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's reunion.

“A-Rod is shocked that J.Lo has moved on,” a source told E! Online in a story published May 10. “He truly thought they would be able to make it work and reconnect. He has been reaching out to J.Lo trying to meet with her and she has been very short with him.”

The source continued that Rodriguez is “saddened” about Lopez and Affleck’s spending time together, and he's apparently reached out to let her know “he's upset.”

But this insider said, “[Lopez is] not interested in rekindling anything with A-Rod and is done.”

Rodriguez and Lopez confirmed in April they were splitting after two years of dating. “We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so,” they said in a joint statement to Today. “We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support.”

Lopez and Affleck, of course, dated in the early aughts and were the subject of massive tabloid fodder. Their reunion was first reported by Page Six in late April after Affleck was seen riding in a car believed to be owned by Lopez. Apparently, this is how they were able to keep their hangouts secret for a minute.

“Security picks him up at a nearby location and drops him off after spending a few hours at her house,” a source told Page Six at the time.

Neither Ben Affleck nor Jennifer Lopez has said anything publicly about their reunion…yet. And neither has Alex Rodriguez, for that matter.
