You Won't Believe How Much J.Lo's Engagement Ring from A-Rod Is Worth

One of Jennifer Lopez's most recent hit singles had the catchy title and chorus: "Y el anillo pa cuando?" which roughly translates from Spanish: "And when is the ring coming?" It looks like during a recent beach vacation, the answer was March 9, as Alex Rodriguez has proposed to J.Lo, and the ring did not disappoint.

And according to Us Weekly, we shouldn't be fooled by the rocks that J.Lo's got-because A-Rod made quite the statement with a massive statement. Brandon Hill of Steve Quick Jeweler in Chicago estimates J.Lo's new emerald-cut engagement ring is worth a whopping $1.4 million.

The couple posted on Instagram from their vacation in the Bahamas that they're officially engaged. On Saturday night, both J.Lo and A-Rod posted a photo of Lopez's hand wearing a large diamond engagement ring on the beach. Rodriguez uploaded the dreamy shot with the caption "she said yes!" Lopez also posted, of course, simply writing eight heart emojis. She also tagged Ellen DeGeneres, presumably as the talk show host loves to teasingly put the pressure on the couple about when they'll get engaged.

After the pair posted about their new relationship status, Rodriguez shared a video on his Instagram story of a bed covered in roses and rose petals spelling "I <3 U."

Though the Yankee baseball veteran and triple threat first met years ago at a baseball game, they reconnected at a restaurant in Los Angeles two years ago and have been dating ever since. This will be the fourth marriage for Lopez and second for Rodriguez, who both have two children each: Lopez's 11-year-old twins Emme and Max-with ex-husband, singer Marc Anthony-plus Rodriguez's daughters Ella, 10, and Natasha, 14, with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis.

Lopez has told The Today Show "When Alex came into my life I was like 'Oh I found a partner who can really hang with me. And he also wants to grow and evolve."

In the days leading up to the engagement announcement, Lopez and Rodriguez-who call one another "Macha" and "Macho"-had been sharing adorable selfies from their getaway. First, A-Rod posted a snap of him and a fresh-faced Lopez.

“Enjoying a little R&R with my <3,” he wrote as the caption, adding, “What’s your happy place? On the beach? Or in the snow?”

JLo also posted from their vacay, uploading a shot snuggled up under a blanket on a boat.

This photo, however, that JLo posted with the caption "#beachbums" alongside A-Rod featuring her world-famous derriere is what really turned heads:

But it was that photo of Jenny's new rock that earned the glowing duo felicidades via Instagram comments from celebrity friends like Hoda Kotb, Kourtney Kardashian, Gwen Stefani, Heidi Klum and Naomi Campbell, and DJ Khaled. And of course, DeGeneres showed some love in her typically Ellen way, writing "Yes, I'll be your maid of honor" in the comments.

Congratulations to this happy couple. On the day of these love birds' wedding, we'll definitely be tuned in for all the details, because we just know it's going to be one to watch.
