Homemade pizza is one of life’s greatest pleasures. Especially one topped with fresh ingredients and tons of cheese! But the worst part is the amount of prep and baking time these usually take (it’s so much easier to order delivery sometimes). Luckily, Chef Alex Guarnaschelli has the perfect solution: no-bake pizzas!

The chef posted a recipe for her Pan Fried Ricotta, Tomato & Basil Pizzas on Mother’s Day, and it doesn’t require baking in the oven. How cool is that?

To make the pizzas, you’ll need prepared pizza dough, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, halved cherry tomatoes, basil leaves, Balsamic vinegar, and more. You’ll start by rolling the dough into two loose balls, covering with a kitchen towel, and letting rest. Next, roll them out to 8-inch round sizes and cook in a skillet with olive oil.

Pull them out and top with remaining ingredients. For an extra kick, add Pizzeria Salt on top, made with oregano, Parmesan, red pepper flakes, and more.

This recipe yields two medium pizzas for a total of 4-6 servings.

We aren’t the only ones who think it looks delicious. One person commented, “Oooooooooweeeeeeee!!!!🔥🔥🔥” Another wrote, “Why do feel like this will be on my menu all summer? Aperol spritz on the side 😋.”

This recipe was also featured on Sunday’s episode of “The Kitchen” on Food Network. Chef Alex, who is mom to Ava, 13, with ex Brandon Clark, wrote on Twitter, “It’s Mother’s Day today on ‘The Kitchen’ and I am making a classic flatbread that I want Ava to make me. My mother would’ve loved it too. A special day.”

Make this deliciously crispy pizza for your mom or for yourself — it’s so easy, you don’t need a special occasion!
