Well it was fun while it lasted, but after two years in the e-commerce business, HomeGoods is pulling the plug on its online store.

The beloved home decor chain, which is owned by TJX Companies, Inc., sent an email to customers Wednesday announcing that it would stop offering online shopping after October 21, Insider reports.

"We've made the decision to focus our resources on our brick-and-mortar stores and will no longer offer online shopping after October 21st,” the email reads. “We'll also be announcing many NEW store openings, continuing to bring our exciting, ever-changing experience to neighborhoods nationwide.”

HomeGoods confirmed the heartbreaking news in a statement to People.

“We will stop taking orders from customers at that time and complete our final shipments,” a representative said, adding that its website will still “provide décor inspiration and trends” for customers.

HomeGoods currently operates 900 brick-and-mortar stores throughout the country, with more on the way.

A TJX customer service representative told Insider that customers could use HomeGoods gift cards and merchandise credit at other TJX-owned stores and sites like TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Home Sense, and Sierra, after October 21.
