Clare Crawley’s New ‘Bachelorette’ Cast Has ARRIVED
ABC just dropped Clare Crawley’s new fleet of suitors on The Bachelorette.
The show cast 25 new men after cutting 15 from the original group.
The Bachelorette has been busily recasting Clare Crawley’s season, and they finally debuted a new group of guys—right as the show starts filming at a Palm Springs resort. According to Entertainment Tonight, there are 42 names total on the list, including 25 brand new suitors and 17 men from the original casting group. Meanwhile, 15 men were cut—including Matt James who is ABC’s upcoming Bachelor.
ABC got some criticism for casting Clare’s season with super-young men, but the majority of her new cast appears to be in their 30s—check them out below:
Soooo, why are there a full 42 men on this list? As ABC’s caption notes, these are the guys who “may” be on Clare’s season—and according to Reality Steve, the network straight-up cast “extra” men just in case.
“I’m hearing this season they have way more guys flown out there than will eventually end up on the show, and that’s to have other guys ready to go if any test positive for COVID upon arrival,” Steve said. “But in typical ‘Bachelor’ fashion, it’s not like they’re telling any of the ‘extra’ guys they flew out that they’re basically just a standby person.”
In other words, this entire group won’t make the final cut so don’t! get! too! attached!
