Alec Baldwin is one doting dad, but when your brood is as large as his, it can be hard to keep track of them all. (Nick Cannon, take notes!)

The actor shared a sweet tribute to his seven children, shared with his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, on Instagram May 4, including close-up photos of Carmen, 9, Rafael, 7, Leonardo, 6, Romeo, 4, Eduardo, 2, Lucia, 2, and Ilaria, 7 months, alongside a heartfelt caption that read, "Seven reasons to carry on during some tough times. I’m not gonna lie, without my family, I don’t know what my life would be."

The only problem, as plenty of commenters pointed out? Baldwin has eight children; he left out his eldest daughter, Ireland, 27, whom he shares with ex-wife Kim Basinger, when honoring his "reasons to carry on."

Just an hour after the fact, Baldwin returned to Instagram to rectify the mistake, admitting—or perhaps joking—that he "forgot" to include her, seeing as she is the one child no longer living at home and, therefore, no longer dependent on him.

"We forgot Billy Preston!" he wrote alongside a close-up photo of the model. "This one, the first one, is about to make me a grandfather. Oy."

Ireland seems ready to pop any day now, already having celebrated her baby shower and announcing her daughter-to-be's name: Holland, inspired by none other than Holland Taylor.

She's enjoying her final days before becoming a mother herself with silly Instagram dances. So far, she has yet to comment on her father's potential snub.
