Breakfast is important, I get it, but sometimes pouring a bowl of cereal just doesn't cut it. There are times when you could really go for a hearty breakfast but don't have the time or the ingredients, but that will never happen again with these breakfast skillets from Aldi.

Breakfast bowls aren't a totally new concept, but these packages from Aldi come with already prepared meals that just need to be reheated. This way, you don't have to worry about finding a carton of eggs at the grocery store—which can be hard to come by these days.
Aldi sells breakfast skills in two varieties: sausage scramble and bacon skillet. Sausage scramble is made with scrambled eggs, pork sausage, mild cheddar cheese, and gold Yukon potatoes. The bacon skillet includes scrambles eggs, gold Yukon potatoes, milk cheddar, and crispy bacon bits. The only difference is the protein, really, so you can opt for whichever you prefer or get a few of each.
The beauty of these bowls is that the food is already fully cooked, so you can microwave them to heat them up without having to worry about runny eggs or undercooked meat. You can just zap it for a couple minutes if you're not in the mood to cook, and your breakfast is served.
These bowls would be great to eat as is with a little hot sauce on top, they but could also be used as the stuffing for a breakfast burrito if you want to mix it up. They're so simple to prepare that you can step away from the cereal...for just a little while.
