Aldi Is Selling a Luxury Pet Sofa for Under $40 and It's Guaranteed to Fly Off Shelves Fast

As pet owners, it’s hard not to buy every cute thing we see for our furry friends. Whether it’s a new feeder, a handy toy or yummy new treats, it’s easy to come up with excuses why we “have to have it.” Don’t even get us started on all of the adorable dog jackets and sweaters there are. With that said, pet couches are definitely hard to pass up. And Aldi’s newest pet sofa is the affordable luxury pet item you might just need to actually get.

Coming to Aldi stores in the upcoming Aldi Finds starting Feb. 7 to Feb. 13, the popular grocery store is dropping a Luxury Pet Sofa from their pet brand, Heart to Tail. It’s only $39.99 and features Boucle fabric, which is a looped yarn material. It measures 25.59 inches wide, 17.32 inches deep and 14.96 inches tall and holds a dog or cat up to 30 lbs. It’s a sweet oval or round shape, elevated and has a mid-century modern feel thanks to the slanted wood feet. The actual cushion is made of foam to provide your pet with comfort while sleeping there.

Heart to Tail Luxury Pet Sofa, $39.99 at Aldi

Pet couches aren’t new but they’re becoming more and more popular. And why not? You mean I can buy a tiny version of a couch just for my cat or dog? And they’ll get to look like a little human in their mini pet sofa like a little sophisticated being? Sign me up! This viral TikTok from user @kylenct—which has over 2.2 million likes—is proof enough that people eat up mini living rooms and mini furniture for cats or pets in general.

Aldi’s pet couch is called a “luxury pet sofa,” but its price is anything but.

If you can’t make it into Aldi next week to buy their pet sofa in person, there are other pet couches and elevated pet sofas from other brands that range from Aldi’s price to higher-end products. Here are some other pet sofas and pet couches (elevated and not elevated) to choose from:

Part of PetSmart's new Nate & Jeremiah collection, this elevated pet bed comes in two sizes, with the smaller size holding up to 80 lbs and the larger one having a weight limit of 120 lbs. It's a chic wicker material for the bed and the mattress is removable and cozy.

Also part of this new collection is a faux leather couch pet bed to really give your furry friend the luxurious furniture they deserve. This also comes in two sizes and has foam around three of the edges to provide your dog or cat with "extra comfort."

On the higher-end of things (and a bit more expensive), Amazon has a microfiber rectangle pet sofa that's elevated similarly to the Aldi Luxury Pet Sofa. It's a bit more of a chaise lounge or loveseat situation and comes in four different sizes (with different shapes). And the color selection is also pretty expansive. One reviewer commented that it was "better than any floor bed we ever had."

Washable Puppy Sleeping Bed Cat Couch Anti-Slip Bottom (White), $39.99 on Amazon

Lastly, Amazon also has a very adorable cat or puppy bed in the shape of a couch. This one isn't elevated but instead has an anti-slip bottom. It has a very soft and furry fabric for your cat to cozy up with, which is removable for easy cleaning. It comes in three colors and only one size (26"L x 14.5"W x 13"Th) so it's more so for cats and smaller dogs. But the felines chilling on this pet couch in the reviews seem totally content with it.
