The ground is warming up which means it's time for one of many things: gardening! Whether you’re a longtime gardener or you want to try your hands at something new, you can start tearing up your yard or garden for spring and summer. If you’re planning on doing any type of gardening, though, you want to make sure that you have the appropriate tools and apparel. While you don’t want to get your sneakers muddy, you might not want big rainboots or wellies. In this case, Aldi has the perfect solution with their upcoming Aldi Find: gardening clogs in cute colors that rival Crocs and Hunter clogs.

Starting May 1 and going through May 7, Aldi will sell Gardenline Men's or Ladies' Garden Clogs for only $8.99. They’re slip-ons and low-rise, so they’re not as bulky as what you’d normally think of as a clog. They’re made with a rubbery material that you can easily hose off or wipe clean and they don’t have holes. They also seem to have nice traction on the bottom so you won’t be slipping and sliding when the inevitable mud comes around.

Aldi’s garden clogs come in four colors: coral, pink, turquoise and khaki. The coral is more of a peachy orange with a grey bottom; the light pink is light with a burgundy bottom; the turquoise has a lighter turquoise bottom; and the khaki is actually more of a dark olive green (on the top and bottom). They come in Ladies’s sizes 5/6-9/10 and Men's sizes 9/10-11/12.

These clogs are actually a returning item for Aldi. A TikTok posted on March 2, 2022, from the Aldi UK page has a very bright and hyped-up promo for the same gardening clogs in different colors. “Garden shoes but make it HIGH FASHION,” the caption reads. While people find that a bit funny in the comments (and it is), it’s hard to ignore how nice these look on people in real life. Some people even use them as slippers, like this user who borrowed their parents’s Aldi gardening shoes joking that they were ALD Garden Mules from Aimé Leon Dore.

In addition to being great indoor/outdoor slippers and, of course, gardening clogs, they also look like much more expensive products out there.

Crocs On The Clock Slip Resistant Work Slip-On, $49.99 at Crocs

The material of Aldi’s gardening clogs seems very Croc-like, and while Crocs doesn’t have gardening-specific shoes, their Crocs On The Clock Slip Resistant Work Slip-On shoes are very similar. They’re $49.99, are made with the classic Croc material—but without the holes—and have a similar low-rise look to Aldi’s shoes. These are specifically designed for working people on their feet all day (baristas, nurses, etc.) so you can bet these have good arch support and are comfortable.

Women's Neoprene Gardener Clogs, $95 at Hunter Boots

Another popular company with similar gardening clogs to Aldi’s is Hunter Boots—specifically, their Women's Neoprene Gardener Clogs. They’re $95 and are made with a “flexible natural rubber foam” and a neoprene liner. They also have “Hunter’s signature tread” on the bottom for grip. These have a similar slip-on, low-rise design to Aldi’s, but the heel makes it pretty different.

Even though Crocs and Hunter Boots are good brands with really good gardening clog options, if you’re looking for something that will get the job done and costs less than $10, Aldi’s Gardenline Men's or Ladies' Garden Clogs are for you.
