While some parts of the country are experiencing a false spring in terms of weather (while others are still thawing), spring might be on your mind. That includes spring cleaning, which might be a dreaded part of the season for some. Whether you love the concept or not, it has to happen at some point and you might as well have the best tools for the job, right? A good, trusty vacuum cleaner is definitely a good idea if you want to give your house the good cleaning it deserves. Cordless stick vacuums are popular right now and Aldi is dropping one that rivals a Dyson vacuum cleaner that’s five times the price.

As part of the upcoming Aldi Finds starting Feb. 28 through March 5, Aldi is selling an Ambiano Cordless Cyclonic Stick Vacuum for $69.99. It comes in two colors—black and white—and has a 2-in-1 function, allowing users to operate the vacuum as a stick or a handheld vacuum cleaner. Another feature of Ambiano’s cordless cyclonic stick vacuum includes a HEPA 13 filter and a washable dust container.

Aldi’s new cordless stick vacuum is powered by a lithium battery, meaning that it’s rechargeable, with a 4.5-hour complete charging time. It can run for 32 minutes if you’re in “Eco Mode” and 18 minutes if you’re in “Max Mode,” which is the more powerful suction setting.

While those features are reason enough to consider Aldi’s cordless stick vacuum, it’s also a really great copycat product to Dyson’s V8 Absolute vacuum, which is currently on sale at most outlets for $349.99 and offers a “quick, versatile cordless cleaning” thanks to it being lightweight.

Dyson's website states that they have a unique HEPA filtration system and a separate vacuum head for hard floors. Another special feature that detangles hair as it goes, which is good if you shed a lot or have a pet that does. The Dyson V8 Absolute vacuum also comes with other heads and a docking station for when it charges.

Obviously, with the Dyson name and technology, along with all the accessories you get in the box, the $350 price point makes sense. However, you might be able to get just as good of a clean with a cordless stick model vacuum that doesn’t cost as must from Aldi, Walmart or Amazon.

For example, there’s the Black+Decker POWERSERIES+ 20V Max Cordless Vacuum on Amazon that costs $99.99. It looks similar to the Aldi Ambiano vacuum, while also having a similar cyclonic filtration system and can convert into a handheld vacuum, too. The Black+Decker version, though, has a special auto-sense technology that allows the vacuum to change suction power depending on the kind of floor you’re on.

And at Walmart, there’s the Bossdan Cordless Lightweight Stick Vacuum for $79.99 that also boasts a “lightweight” and quiet design. It comes with a few other vacuum heads, can run for up to 40 minutes and has a rechargeable battery. Like the Black+Decker cordless stick vacuum, this one also has an LED light that helps you see more dirt.

If you can make it to Aldi to snatch up their Ambiano Cordless Cyclonic Stick Vacuum before they’re gone next week, you’ll save yourself some money. But, again, there are other options out there if you want to get in on the cordless stick vacuum craze.

Next up, Aldi is selling a trendy bamboo pendant lamp that's under $40 and looks like something from West Elm or Pottery Barn.
